Demlane Farm was originally a dairy. We have refitted the sheds to be able to house our sheep at need. This provides a safe environment in bad weather.
We border two national parks and our sheep are protected by guardian dogs.
The Farm has a Wildlife Refuge Agreement with the Biodiversity Conservation Trust
Dedicated wildlife corridors connect areas of rainforest and riparian vegetation
Wetland areas are being reclaimed from grazing, fenced and re-planted
Orchard and asparagus beds are managed without spraying
Pasture is improved through aeration and application of natural fertiliser products
